Reconnecting with Nature - Community Gardening Event!
Time & Location
About the Event
As the old adage goes, April showers brings May flowers. It’s time to nourish the mind and soul by immersing ourselves in nature.
In April, we celebrated our namesake, the Pink Moon, which earned it’s colorful moniker due to the beautiful pink phlox that graces our presence as one of the earliest springtime blooms across the US landscape. Let’s come together to bring color into the community and our homes at our free gardening event this May.
Join us for a conversation with Pink Moon yogi and expert gardener, Veronica Gallagher, who will guide us through a discussion on native plants as we create our own personal take-home gardens. Learn about the ways in which we can support our ecosystem and local wildlife by making more informed decisions at your local garden center, all while beautifying your sacred outdoor space.
We’ll also come together as a group to plant several gorgeous native plants, to be displayed outside Pink Moon Yoga & Wellness.
As always, we’ll close out our event with a celebratory ritual that will keep us connected with nature in the months to come.
Celebrate Mother Earth and reconnect with nature as we build community. No gardening experience required! Please wear clothing you’re willing to get a bit dirty!
Pre-registration is required. If you are unable to attend, please notify us so that space can be made for others. We still are working with limited capacity due to the pandemic. This event is free for all Pink Moon Yoga & Wellness members. We will be charging a small $5 fee for non-members to help cover the costs. Members, please make sure you are logged in to register free of charge!
