Samhain

Come and celebrate the start of a new cycle on the Wheel of the Year! November 1st is Samhain, pronounced sow-wain, and is a very special time of year! It’s the Witches' New Year!  It’s a time when our seasons are transitioning and nature is asking us to embrace life’s cycles by surrendering to the death of what has been so that we can make space for what is to come. The trees are losing their leaves, the harvest is coming to a close, and the winter months ahead are beckoning us to prepare for them. And so begins the season of reflection and introspection. 

The veil that separates the living from the dead is at its thinnest on this date, allowing communication with our loved ones in spirit to happen more easily. November 1st, is a day to honor and remember the “faithfully departed” in our family and ancestral…
