Love paddleboarding? Want to try out paddleboarding but afraid of taking the plunge? Test your balance skills on land with this outdoor yoga flow that will challenge your core and strengthen the body. Using weighted “paddles,” we’ll step onto our land paddleboards and move through a fusion of traditional yoga poses, powerhouse Pilates moves, and arm work, sculpting the body as we simulate floating on water.
Sarah will lead class with 15 minutes of a yoga warm-up to be followed by strength training moves taught by Peg & Jack. After a good stretch & sweat, Danielle will close out our practice with some restorative yoga poses to leave us relaxed and renewed. This class is a great opportunity to fine tune your balance, preparing you for a water-based paddleboard yoga class!
This class is limited to 6 students, as props are required. This class will be held outside, weather permitting, and moved inside if there is rain. If tickets are sold out and the class is held outside, students may feel free to bring a mat and participate on land! An announcement will be sent the night before in the event of inclement weather.
