Service Description

Whether you’re looking to improve your Pilates practice or interested in beginning your teaching journey, this training is for you! This includes four days of training and practice teaching, as well as the required learning materials. Students will have complimentary access to our Pilates classes at both locations between the start and finish of the training. Pilates sets a powerful foundation for movement and can easily be adapted for all ages, mobility, and fitness levels. You can help support the whole-body health of yourself and your students by correcting misalignments, assisting with the rehabilitation of injuries, strengthening muscles, and connecting the breath, body, and mind for increased focus and stress relief. Pilates is a great complement to yoga and other fitness modalities. In this training, you will learn a solid foundation in classical Pilates mat work, in-depth discussion of the Pilates principles behind each exercise order and how to both modify and progress, correcting techniques, and contraindications for exercises. An exam will be given at the conclusion of your training. Your Trainers Peggy Rossi Fitness has always been a part of Peggy’s life, from running, sharing yoga with all ages, and practicing Pilates for more than a decade. Peggy has extensive certifications in a variety of disciplines, giving her expertise in anatomy, alignment, and modifications. Peggy is a co-founder of Pink Moon Yoga & Wellness and formerly managed fitness programs at Retro Fitness.
