Join Dana for an 8-week series of Qi Gong at our Brielle Studio! July 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12, 19, 26 Qi gong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being. Qi gong has both mental and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, body’s movement and posture. Qi gong practice typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow-flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind. People practice qi gong for recreation, exercise, relaxation, preventive medicine, self-healing, alternative medicine, meditation, self-cultivation, and training for martial arts. Dana's style has always been very "qi gong" when she teaches yoga. Since practicing qi gong her energy is more calming, welcoming and tranquil. Dana practices 15 to 20 minutes every day to set her energy in mind and body. Our introductory price for this series is $100 per person for eight (8) sessions! If the series is well attended, we will run another session in the fall!
All class cancellations must be made 2 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be subject to a $10 fee or loss of a session. Courses or Class Series are charged in full at the time of booking. These programs run for a set number of pre-scheduled sessions. Courses & Class Series are non-refundable.
